I have reopened that bug, but found the culprit ... The file ~/.openoffice.org2/user/config/javasettings_Linux_x86.xml listed the wrong path, but strange enough I had to remove that file to make OOo.org to recreate it. After that it worked. But why wasn't that possible from within OOo?
