The same happends to me. Tried to use Spell checking on a document like that. Though I changed the lang setting to english and then tried spell cheking, the document still acted 'german', no matter what lang setting I tried. Copying the text to a new sheet helped :( -- Lp, K. -- To UNSUBS

Hello, I finally found the problem - is turns out that Microsoft fonts (package msttcorefonts) changed the location on the disk, now they are fetched to /usr/share/fonts/truetype/msttcorefonts. So, the solution to the problem below is to remove the older directories where the former fonts were
