got it.
The openoffice.org-l10n-de package lacks the following directory:
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/template/german/wizard/bitmap.
After copying the english version, the Autopilot->formular wizard does
start.
The korean language package does not contain the bitmap directory
either.

I have the same problem here and I just tried to follow it with strace
it seems to come from the french install: the directory
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/template/french/wizard/bitmap was missing,
making it a link to ../../english/wizard/bitmap solve the problem
