There is already a bunch of GNU software in non-free:
- make-doc
- texinfo-doc-nonfree
- autoconf-doc
- automake.*-
Hi all,
currently, the gnus package in unstable is shipped without
documentation because it's been released under the GNU free
documentation licence and thus isn't compatible with Debian licencing,
as I understand it. Emacs itself, however, is packaged including its
documentation which is provided
