hi all,
i've just uploaded curl 7.14.1-3 to experimental, it should put curl
back in a good state. i also uploaded pycurl built using curl+gnutls.
to build something with libcurl, one has to install either
libcurl3-openssl-dev or libcurl3-gnutls-dev. the built package will

Hello All,
I read sometime back about Debian GNU/OpenSolaris idea.
Looked great.
Mac OSX's open source version, Darwin, Does it qualify under DFSG ?
If yes, could we have a Debian GNU/Darwin port ?
And even if Apple's Darwin doesn't qualify, GNU-Darwin would definitely
will. Why don't we try to

Hi,
I put the changes for Debian openssl 0.9.8 into svn on alioth and the
packages for testing on http://www.verwaltung.uni-mainz.de/debian/openssl.
Feel free to check it out from svn or download the packages and test
them and comment on them. I did some first test and they look good.
Maybe I can

Hi all!
It may be a stupid question, but I'm wondering if it would be usefull to use
uclibc++[1] instead of libstdc++

you're kidding me. who the hell is using 386's in a production environment?
The issue of where to put state information that needs to be stored
prior to the initialization of networking (or independently of
networking) has been discussed before. The longest discussion I can
recall was in the spring of 2003 and had the subject headings:
