new "upstream library" (non-debian specific) so that others can use it too
(on other distributions or systems). Of course, we'd need a good upstream

This field is important if the package is handed from one maintainer to
another. The second usually does not know where to get the upstream
sources! And of course, the users probably would like to know
e care of this please?
Guy is responsible for such things. However, he said he's offline for 4
weeks. I suggest you file this as a bug report against the package
"ftp.debian.org" so he doesn't forget about it when he cames back.
