(Personally I think unicode should have been frozen too, by the way;
upgrading it this late in the release cycle seems to be a mistake).

I think your suggestion[*] is the best option. It's too late to do a more
ideal fix but the alternative is nearly all Ada packages (if not all?)
being autoRM'd.
Unless Ludovic thinks otherwise (in the next day or so, given the short
timescales), I'd get on with it.

The attached patch builds libxmlada/18-3 against unicode-data/12.1.0.
According to a diff of generated sources, no existing symbol is
changed or removed, so it should be safe to keep the same SO version
for the binary library package.
