Good morning, Nicolas,I think your suggestion[*] is the best option. It's too late to do a more ideal fix but the alternative is nearly all Ada packages (if not all?) being autoRM'd.
Unless Ludovic thinks otherwise (in the next day or so, given the short timescales), I'd get on with it.
