I can confirm that the current patch builds on a 4.3 kernel, but results in a system with no video. (Works fine rebooted on 4.2 kernel.) Mike Stone

Unfortunately it does compile but it doesn't work. With kernel 4.3 I get a black screen with a flashing cursor. I wasn't able to find the ubuntu patch you're referring but there is a new amd driver[1] that may solve the problem. I've tried to build deb packages using amd software but their scrip
