Hi there,
On my Debian lenny test machine, I've noticed new versions of
evolution-data-server have been installed, here is what I got:

evolution-data-server didn't yet migrate to testing due to missing build
on hppa. You can follow this on:
http://packages.qa.debian.
FInally got some time to test this on a freshly installed Debian lenny
machine.
Well, look:

groupware suite with mail client and organizer

I countered this before. My workaround was to remove ~/.evolution and
~/.gconf/apps/evolution completely. Then start evolution to add exchange
account. I'm not sure if this could also work for you. But you can give
a try.

Hi there and thanks for your contribution,
Well right now I can't test that on this machine, because I found a very
dirty trick in order to get evolution-exchange to work in lenny: I
configured evolution on Debian 4.0 "etch", and copied the configuration
files to the Debian "lenny" machine. It wor
I suggest you first ensure that:
1) evolution-exchange is installed
2) evolution-data-server and its libraries are version 1.12.3-1 (not
1.12.2-1+b1)
If so, we can continue investigating this.
Cheers,

I've just discovered another weird thing:
With Evolution, I can access my e-mails on the Exchange server
but I cannot access the calendar on the Exchange server.

enabled or disabled.
By default it is disabled.
If I try to enable

Check http://bugs.debian.org/462950 , maybe at some point "Exchange
Operations" plugin is not enabled, so the fields disappears. One bug
(#462950) makes the plugin unloadable and another bug (#366841) shows
Hm, good idea.
Just tried that creating a new account:
same result, there's only the Username field

Hello,
Hmmm yes this bug might be a duplicate of bug number 366841.
However I looked at the solution given in bug number 366841, and I t

Hi there,
Well I just did a fresh install of evolution and evolution-exchange on a
freshly installed machine.
The version of evolution-exchange is 2.12.2.dfsg-1+b1
And, again, all I get when I choose "Microsoft Exchange" is the Username

This is puzzling.
What I can do is make a fresh install of lenny on some

HI and thanks for your contribution,
Well yes, in the previous version of evolution-exchange in lenny, there was
indeed an "Authenticate" button.
But there is no such button in the current version of evolution-exchange in
lenny.
Anyway, with the previous lenny version, there was only one field: U

Hi there,
The "exchange connector" for evolution in Debian "lenny" (testing) has major
issues.
When I start evolution for the first time, some "Evolution Setup Assistant"
allows me to create an account.
