Note it would require Debian-specific changes to core Moodle if you really wanted it to look in Debian's location for phpmailer (where is it btw?). We can do that, it's just going to take a bit of work and will increase likelihood of bugs on Debian (thus increasing testing required). On 08/02/200

Heya, The bug about the embedded copy of phpmailer in moodle has been open for ages now without any activity. Isaac, you said you couldn't use the Debian package (at that time): Is that still true? Would it be possible to adjust libphp-phpmailer to your needs? OTOH, Morizt, if this isn't possible
