Thanks for the follow-up; I almost forgot about this bug report.
I was working on my drawings (same ones) a few days ago and I did not see
this problem. I verified again just now that I am now seeing any problems.
The bug seems to have been (silently) fixed.

There are various comments in this bug log about whether the problem is
reproducible with inkscape 0.43, but it doesn't look like any of them have
been forwarded to you. Could you please confirm whether you still see this
