Apparently I missed the transition from intel_drv to modesetting_drv.
After switching to modesetting (instead of intel) and purging
xserver-xorg-video-intel, the workaround in /etc/drirc is no longer needed.

I can reproduce the problem, which did not happen with Wheezy.
UEFI boot, fresh Debian 8 amd64, RAID 1 on two GPT disks.
Another person experienced it too on disks with legacy MBR/MSDOS
partition scheme, so I do not think it is related to GPT.
Note that this does not happen when the missing membe
r their permission as
the documentation says. I have yet to hear from the team.
Note that I have not prepared a package for oldstable, I am suppose to
do that as well?
