Not all btrfs hosts are affected. A fresh UEFI trixie btrfs virtual machine boots fine on bookworm QEMU+OVMF. IIUC you wrote that trixie installer is affected too on your host, but it does not use btrfs to boot so non-btrfs systems may be affected.
