Okay, I tried to compile gwyddion 2.31 and the same problem persists. So
there must have been some change in the toolchain, I suppose?!?!

I tried playing openarena. For me, "something" dies after around 10 min of
playing. The game continues in the upper part of the screen, but I cannot act
