Dear Marco, thank you for the bug report. It is actually already reported and known upstream (see http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=31756867) and a quick fix is to start gwyddion with english language. Upstream has already released a patch, but I did not yet find the time to release an updated Debian revision. I will try to give this higher priority on my todo-list. I'm sorry for the delay.
