I tried with 9.2.2... fglrx module is loaded, but unfortunately for me still
no joy...
Still black screen with backlight off :(
I'm attaching my Xorg.log: as you can see GLX now is loaded correctly.

Tested 9-2-1 with 2.6.26-1 amd64 stock kernel on an Asus M51Ta notebook with
RS780M (HD3200) and HD3650
I completely uninstalled old fglrx version (stuck with 8.7...), installed 9.2
and generated a clean xorg

Same problem for me (notebook with HD3200 and HD3650): 9.1
found in Xorg log.
I'm attaching lspci -vv of the notebook.
Cannot post more info for now as I downgraded to 8.7.
