Could you try to investigate why lightdm can't create it? Can you create it
yourself and see what happens?

Let's be realistic, I won't have time / priority for those themes, so I'm ok
with dropping maintenance even right now. So go ahead with your preferred
plan.

remove myself from
maintainers/uploaders of the theme packages, I'm unlikely to have time for
them in the near future.

unfortunately quite busy these days with a lot of stuff, and clearly the
various murrine themes are low priority for me. So I'll let you go ahead with
your plans, don't count on me for anything on this…
Thanks for the work anyway.

That'd be ok with me. I don't really have time or interest for this as a

Yes, thanks, I'll try to take a look at it rather sooner than later in the
release cycle.

idea from where exactly the link comes from). My guess would be libxfce4ui, so
if you could give us the output of dpkg -l |grep libxf

Thanks, I did noticed that too, unsure where it comes from. In any case, that
doesn't look RC to me, si
Xfce 4.14 upload should happen soon, we're waiting for the RT feedback on
xfconf/xfce4-panel transitions first. We can upload a new version with the
build-deps updated but that won't change much until libxfce4ui 4.14 is
uploaded anyway.

e crashes yet but that doesn't look that good. When
the locker crashes, the session is wide open. When that happen at lid close,
for example, you don't have any feedback.
So I wouldn't push xfce4-screensaver in a stable release right now.

seems interested to find out.
If you volunteer, I welcome any help on this, whether by finding the issues
with the light-locker/lightdm/DDX stack or actually making sure there's no
security issue in xfce4-screensaver.
