Hello,
I used a weird vagrant basebox I had to upgrade in order to get latest
packages. Most probably this (or the basebox itself) broke something —
it wasn't updated for 6-7 months…
Also, I used the APT configuration saying I didn't want the
"recommends", it seems some of the packages marked as

Trying to reproduce it locally, I run into yet another problem:
1) Failure:
repo::iterator::fs_preserve
If a lot message is not intended for output, it can close the input
pipe prematurely, which can trigger a sigpipe error. Instead, always
redirect input somewhere, so that the input pipe is not prematuring
closed. This should help fix the SIGPIPE error that we're seeing in

This is a suggested patch to fix the issue. The patch has the log
function always accept the stdin, and redirect it to /dev/null if it
doesn't intend to spit it out.
All monkeysphere tests pass with this patch. Can someone test this on
one of the affected systems?

A temporary fix is indeed copying the header file from the source to
/usr/local/include.

marco with xmonad and that makes mate-terminal segfault.
I basically do:
dconf write /org/mate/desktop/session/required-components/windowmanager
