Current plan is to follow upstream and use mozjs185. With gjs 3.2 it will be mandatory anyway. mozjs185 is not yet packaged for Debian but Chris (Ubuntu maintainer) is willing to maintain it in Debian. The current work is at available at https://code.launchpad.net/~mozillateam/mozjs/mozjs-trunk.h
