Looking through the package/bug history[0][1][2], this seems to be a
recurring issue that isn't being fixed upstream. In [0] Erich Schubert
submitted a patch to address the specific problem of the server list
getting truncate

Hello,
Klaus asked me to have a look at this for him. I've attached a patch
which replaces the "kill `ps ax | grep command | ... cut`" commands with
simply "kill $(pidof command)". Untested.
