I just discovered that on my Ubuntu laptop running Gutsy, the Luabind
package they now have in their repository (0.7.dfsg-1) works with the
application that I had previously reported the Debian package failed
to run. I find this odd since I believe the Ubuntu package was taken
directly from
It's not 'whatever arch it happens to be built on'. The source package
contains an i386 binary for abs_fdisk in addition to a copy of the
util-linux source and debian/rules doesn't rebuild it, it just installs
the binary. So it will always be i386.

This bug looks line being related to major skin manager issues upstream
just fixed.
Could you please upgrade to 1.4.2 (currently in sid only) and tell me if
