The latest and greates klibc version fails to build on sparc. Due to some
reason buildd overrides the CFLAGS set and uses -m32 (instead of -m64) flag to
gcc, causing the failure. It builds fine on my up-to-date sid system. It also
boot 2.6.14-2 fine, if I increase the timeout after udevsyn

I just compiled valgrind on my machine, and it seems to be compiled correctly
even though it supports sse:
