Package: dlocate Version: 0.5-0.1 Severity: serious Justification: Policy 12.3
Section 12.3 of Debian policy "Additional documentation" says: "Former Debian releases placed all additional documentation in /usr/doc/package. This has been changed to /usr/share/doc/package, and packages must not put documentation in the directory /usr/doc/package." I believe this package violates this rule by installing a symlink in /usr/doc/. It is the aim that etch will not have any packages installing things into the directory /usr/doc/. I believe this bug can be rectified by simply building and uploading a new Debian version of this package.
