Thanks for reporting this John. I somehow overlooked this in prepping
0.5.2-1 thinking that upstream had fixed it, but obviously they're only
going to be applying a fix for mips & not hppa.
I've opened a PR to get this fixed upstream:

The hppa and mips architecture have the same nan format (i.e.,
quiet and signalling nans are different from x86, etc). With the
attached change, capnproto builds successfully on hppa. See:
