Thanks for reporting this John. I somehow overlooked this in prepping 0.5.2-1 thinking that upstream had fixed it, but obviously they're only going to be applying a fix for mips & not hppa.
I've opened a PR to get this fixed upstream: https://github.com/sandstorm-io/capnproto/pull/200 Sorry for the oversight. If upstream hasn't pushed a new source tarball with this fix by the time I get around to cutting the next release, I'll pull this patch back into the Debian packages.
