Hi,
Since I do not have NVIDIA GPU on my system, I removed all its non-free
drivers from my system. Then my problem is gone.
For my case, non-free NVIDIA software seems to be interfering with the
GPU detection for GLX on Intel in
Hi,
Looking at the date of OP's situation, problem may be different.
Booting with the older kernel linux-image-3.16-2-amd64 did not fix my
situation. My problem may be mutter or mesa.

Hi Kurt,
What is your system (CPU/GPU)? Do you see the same kind of syslog as I
quote below?
I see linux-kernel mesa and mutter are updated on my system yesterday.
Maybe one of these are causing this.
Here is my situation.

It seems to be a different bug than the one originally reported here,
as Kurt doesn't see "any way to actually select o

Hi, i'm on Jessie with GDM 3.14.0-1, after update and reboot I also
cannot login.
gdm3 asks for username and password, and then tries to load gnome but
restarts itself and ask again for username and password.
I can only login, if a change from gdm3 to ligthdm for example.

think we are missing a strict versioned dependency here.

Hi,
gdm isn't giving me any option to log in anymore.
After I boot, I get this nice black screen. With previous
versions I had to do annoying slide afterwards to unlock the
screen and I could still log in. With the current version
just moving the mouse shows m
