Hi,
is there any blocker with packaging libsass and sassc or just lack of time and
somebody should take over?
Are there any git repos of the last packaging efforts for this too packages so
that one doesn't need to start from scratch again?

What's the status of packaging libsass?
I maintain ruby-sass and ruby-compass, as well as a number of Compass
libraries. I really look forward to libsass becoming part of Debian,
and both a) offer my help maintaining it and b) offer to take over if
you have lost interest in packaging it.
I think "libsass" should be built with "--enable-tests" but it will
require "sassc" and "sass-spec" test set. "sassc" needs "libsass"
so to avoid circular dependency I think "libsass" and "sassc" shall be
produced from single source package.
Also "sass-spec" will be required on build-time so perha
control: owner -1 !
