Thanks for your comments - you're right, this is really happening in clean
chroot only if kernel headers are not installed.
This will be fixed soon.

I believe this bug was reported by mistake.
Usually I test for such case, specifically.
Also as far as I'm aware Pierre is using git-buildpackage which is also quite
sensitive to such situation.
However because I wasn't able to reproduce the problem y

The xtables-addons package fails to build twice in a row. The clean target
