You can use MiniBrowser instead, which is the GtkLauncher equivalent
for the WebKit2 API.
WebKit2 has a split
Package: libwebkitgtk-1.0-0
Version: 2.4.2-1
Followup-For: Bug #651636
I've tried the versions in unstable for both package 1.0 and 3.0,
but it keeps crashing.
Let me know if you need a backtrace and how I can produce it (I
see that things have changed.. where is GtkLauncher?).
Thanks

Unfortunately it still crashes with 2.4.1-2 (now in testing).
I might try 2.4.2-1 in unstable.
BTW, #689094 should be more appropriate, since we are
testing libwebkitgtk-3.0-0. Also I wonder if browsers
are using 3.0 or still

webkitgtk 2.4.1-2 is now in unstable, can you test if that one works
fine? Thanks!

Can you please verify if you can still reproduce this bug?
In particular make sure that your webkitgtk version is at least 2.2.5,
since we fixed a couple of important crashes in that release.
Thanks!

Hi,
I've tested the new builds on mipsel, but when JavaScript is enabled
things are still unstable. The attached crashes from GtkLauncher are
easily reproducible by starting the SunSpider benchmark and refreshing
after a few seconds:

Hi,
If this bug relates to JIT, it could be the same as #673469 seen on
armel, still unfixed upstream but disabling JIT for now is a suggested
workaround.
My mipsel hardware is probably not powerful enough to rebuild webkit to
try this myself, though...
p.s.: disabling JavaScript in Midori made
severity 651636 grave # justification: renders package unusable
retitle 651636 GtkLauncher segfaults on mipsel, JavaScript-related
thanks
I'm afraid this regression seems to make webkit unusable on mipsel
(including Midori, for example) so I'm raising the severity accordingly.
I'd appreciate if a
