I'm still seeing this issue with Debian Jessie on POWER8 hardware, trying
to boot the FreeBSD 10.2 ISO image. The error is almost identical, with a
slight change to the kernel address:
Booting [/boot/kernel/kernel]...
Kernel entry at 0x101f00 ...

Dear Maintainer,
I'm unable to boot a FreeBSD ISO image in qemu for ppc architecture.
When i run the commad:
me@host:~$ qemu-system-ppc -hda freebsd-8.1-ppc.img -cdrom
FreeBSD-8.1-RELEASE-powerpc-disc1.iso \
-boot d -nographic
