Package: openbios-ppc Version: 1.0+svn1018-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I'm unable to boot a FreeBSD ISO image in qemu for ppc architecture. When i run the commad: me@host:~$ qemu-system-ppc -hda freebsd-8.1-ppc.img -cdrom FreeBSD-8.1-RELEASE-powerpc-disc1.iso \ -boot d -nographic >> ============================================================= >> OpenBIOS 1.0 [Feb 19 2011 11:37] >> Configuration device id QEMU version 1 machine id 2 >> CPUs: 1 >> Memory: 128M >> UUID: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 >> CPU type PowerPC,750 Welcome to OpenBIOS v1.0 built on Feb 19 2011 11:37 Trying cd:,\\:tbxi... But, there is a bug [1] for similar situation in Fedora for openbios. I'm not shure if this bug is in openbios-ppc or qemu. Thank you.
