Hi,
I installed Debian 8.2 on a USB drive to test some of packages that cause
serious issue.

I can confirm this bug for squeeze on my Thinkpad R61.
Suspend (suspend to ram) and resume works. Hibernate (suspend to disk)
fails without any error messages that I could read.
My /var/log/pm-suspend.log is shown below.
