Package: pm-utils
Version: 1.3.0-2
Severity: normal

On my ThinkPad T60, occasionally the system gets into a state where pm-
hibernate fails. s2disk still succeeds and I haven't tracked down the cause of
the failure. One of the reason is that running "pm-hibernate" as root from the
command-line just returns sliently (with error code 1), whereas I would expect
it to return some output on stderr giving a hint as to where the problem comes
from.

After some digging I noticed that /var/log/pm-suspend might contain relevant
debug info (tho it didn't help me, yet), but that's no substitute for putting
some diagnostics right into stderr.
