Hi,
I found the 64bit flash plugin at

The file
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/flashplayer_square_p1_64bit_linux_091510.tar.gz
contains a libflashplayer.so which does work on my amd64 squeeze system.

Hi.
I really can't find the download. I see the link to the labs page, but
there is no download.
At least none that I can find. It looks like someone at Adobe made a
joke/mistake here.

After doing the instructions on http://wiki.debian.org/FlashPlayer for
Debian 5.0 amd64 it works. But then if you do "deborphan" you're
erroneously told that ia32-libs-workaround-499043 and libswfdec-0.8-0
are no longer needed.

Hello,
OK I got it working and avoided the checksum problem.
I did not follow the step n°4 in the documentation:

I did the following:

Get libflashplayer.so from:

It doesn't work for me:

Hi.
Where exactly do you see a 64 Bit version of the flash player?
I can't find one in the links provided by you.
As far as I know, there is no 64 Bit version for any platform at the moment.
So, yes, you might be missing something

Nspluginwrapper could be an option too, a more secure one indeed, but
in my experience it fails to render flash on many sites (the gray box
thing).
Thanks.

Believe it or not, people do use Flash (Whats the web without Youtube,
or WorldCup online matches?), and having a useless package is not an
option either.
Until we find a way to workaround this (thanks to Adobe anyway...,
this issue makes me hate Flash even more) some workarounds have to be
made,

While I am aware that the 64-bit Flash plugin is only available in
versions that have security bugs, the flashplugin-nonfree package is now
completely useless on amd64. Please either depend on nspluginwrapper
