Pretty much the same issues, i do killall xfce4-panel and then restart it to
solve the problem
this occurs when recovering from hibernate or suspend, and quite often remains
after I use the panel

Dear Maintainer,
I'm not sure whether my problem should rather be reported as
a new bug, but after upgrading to Wheezy, the panel has started to
show similar behavior as described above. I had seen this kind of
behaviour earlier,
