Package: xfce4-panel Version: 4.8.6-4 Followup-For: Bug #582068 Dear Maintainer,
I'm not sure whether my problem should rather be reported as a new bug, but after upgrading to Wheezy, the panel has started to show similar behavior as described above. I had seen this kind of behaviour earlier, but until the upgrade, it was rare and had not happened for a long time. Now suddenly it happens all the time. Specifically, the re-emerged problem seems to be caused by the Verve command-line plugin, which has been added in the panel. Whenever a command is executed with the Verve plugin, the panel stops autohiding. The problem does not occur if I write a nonsense command, in which case the system gives me a warning that the command cannot be executed. Neither have I noticed any other plugin or function on the panel causing the problem to occur. -- Simo Kaupinmäki isoku...@gmail.com -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xfce4-panel depends on: ii dpkg 1.16.10 ii exo-utils 0.6.2-5 ii libatk1.0-0 2.4.0-2 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libcairo2 1.12.2-3 ii libdbus-1-3 1.6.8-1+deb7u1 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.100.2-1 ii libexo-1-0 0.6.2-5 ii libfontconfig1 2.9.0-7.1 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1.1 ii libgarcon-1-0 0.1.12-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.33.12+really2.32.4-5 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.10-2 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.1-2 ii libwnck22 2.30.7-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1+deb7u1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.1-2+deb7u1 ii libxfce4ui-1-0 4.8.1-1 ii libxfce4util4 4.8.2-1 ii libxfconf-0-2 4.8.1-1 ii multiarch-support 2.13-38 xfce4-panel recommends no packages. xfce4-panel suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
