Forwarding this because the problem is caused by curl failing.

Well, if curl doesn't work, approx won't work, since it uses curl
subprocesses for all remote fetching.
Can you try the workaround suggested in #490624: downgrade curl and
libcurl3 to the versions in
Hi, I do not have any extra components in my home network, only router
and my box, I to have been using approx without problem for some time.
Lately my approx sometimes does not download new release or packages
files and sometimes it fails to download some of the packages
requested by apt.
