just select the old method which has some limitations that you
discovered. Use just dev=/dev/hdc instead.
We should implement something to do that automaticaly and advise users
to drop ATAPI: prefix in future.

When invoking wodim with dev=ATAPI:/dev/xxx syntax
(for instance, when using k3b) it fails to detect my
DVD-RW supported modes, and refuses to write in any mode (SAO/TAO).
For example:
