Since the Debian installer has a workaround for the bug, I've
reassigned its severity to normal.

Package: e2fslibs
Version: 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.10.02+dfsg-1
Severity: important
When I try to create an ext2 revision 0 filesystem, I get the
following (imho bogus) error:
3834:[EMAIL PROTECTED]: ~] mkfs.ext2 -r 0 -O none test
mke2fs 1.40-WIP (02-Oct-2006)
test is not a block special device.
