PS Two HOWTO typos:
1: package initrd-tools is not needed. suggest removal for simplicity.
2: include -k all switch: update-initramfs -k all -u
(Also, the man page on update-initramfs does not say where it gets its
list of kernels from. This should be listed in the FILES section, or
whatever
Oh for heaven's sake, I can promise I'm way busier than you!!! (Until
you're a professor you have no concept of what "busy" means.) But
does that stop me? No.
