I'm having this problem (texts in gtk-apps are only displayed up to the
first space) as well.
One more important piece of information: For me only non-antialiased
fonts are affected. If I turn anti-aliasing on, all fonts are rendered
perfectly. QT-apps are not affected for me at all. Affected apps

This didn't work. I had to downgrade again to fix the problem. One more
strange thing that happens is that the hidden text can be displayed by
selecting it while in a textbox.
