I have the same problem here.
1.) 'send/recieve' is greyed out.
2.) 'File->Work Online' is greyed out.
I have no idea what to fix/change etc ... any advice would be great!
I have the same situation here, but additionally, the "Work Online" Menu
is also greyed out.
I do not know how to make evolution tell it should be online.

I just run into this bug.
NetworkManager did not mangage to connect to the wireless network so I
connected via command line. The send/receive button of Evolution stayed
grey. Even killing NetworkManager and restarting Evolution did not help!
What can I do in this situation?
Greetings
Ronny

If you do, can you try to fiddle with the "Work offline" command? It's
the only thing I know that can grey out the send/receive button. If the

Since the upgrade to 2.6.1 (I think), then send/receive button remains

evolution refresh my mailbox contents and show new mail.
