Thanks for all the replies. I've had a chance to look at this today
and have some information.
First, some more detail about the system. This system is running the
new standard SATA BIOS Dell uses on desktops. We use all Dells here
at work and we have been getting SATA systems with an

The output is the same. The system is running pciutils 1:2.1.11-15.
The SATA controller is probably the Unknown Intel ATA controller 27df:

ahci module for it would be relevant or not.
