to see why jwhois needs to query the http server for .de domains, when the
whois server works fine. It has worked for me in the past. Then for some
time I had to add -T dn to the query to get the full info

when I'm trying to look up a .de domain, jwhois will give me no results.
Instead I only see this:
[salem:~]-35> jwhois -f test.de
[Querying http://www.denic.de/en/whois/data.jsp]
But when I ask the whois-server directly, I get the desired
5 matches
