Just wanted to chime in and say that I confirm all of the above, I have applied the patch in: https://gitlab.com/qemu-project/qemu/-/issues/1628#note_2144606625 And now my Windows 10 VM, with QXL, 4K resolution and 175% scaling does not hang as it used to. The patch was applied to the latest 9.2
