Hello,
I want to give an update of the situation because I migrated from Debian
11 to 12 (old-stable to stable). Stable now has ownCloud client 2.11.0.
The described bug is still in this version.
As upstream reported (https://github.com/owncloud/client/issues/10071)
it might be fixed in 2.11

This may be an upstream bug in version 2.11, because I observe the same
behavior in Ubuntu 23.04, which contains the same version of the
owncloud-client package. Upstream version 4.0.0 does not exhibit this bug.
