Thanks for taking the time on this. I guessed it would be hard to
reproduce, since the other 2 kernels show no problems. A diff of the
configs between 6.2.30-1 & 30-2 showed nothing. Yet, 6.2.30-2
consistantly fails to boot while 30-1 works as always. Both are stock

My apologies, I should have been more precise. When filed, aptitude
showed python-glade2 depended on python-gtk2-doc. I was required to
install the doc package to run python-glade2.

as it might be pan's implementation of the library. I see now that
someone has opened a bug against pan with the same description.
Thank you for your quick attention. I'll let the pan maintainer decide
where the error lies. Please disregard & close my report.

I use set GID (g+s) in my music library to share files. All users have a
login umask of 002 (g+w) yet kaudiocreator constantly creates directories
022 (g-w), i.e. no group write.
