If a source cannot be processed for any reason the error message
reported back to apt is misleading.
For example, the following source line
deb s3://github.com.s3.amazonaws.com/fubar/ trivial_repo/
we see the following
~$ sudo apt-get upda
Package: apt-transport-s3
Version: 1.1.0-2
Severity: important
Tags: patch
When a package has a filename that includes a + character in it the
attempt to fetch it from S3 fails.
This is a known issue with S3 and has been fixed in the apt source.
A patch for this issue has been submitted upstream

Yep, please go ahead and close this when you want to. It might be worth
leaving it open until April 9 on the off chance that this report helps
some one else who runs into the same issue (who will probably need to
browse http://snapshot.debian.org/package/pcre3/8.12-3/#libpcre3_8.12-3
and install that
being added).

AFAICT, this seems easily fixed. The libmemcached client will only
build memslap when libevent is available. See clients/include.am
The following patch to the control file seems to do just that. If you
agree, could you please incorporate it? memslap is a must have for
those

iled the result and am using it from
/usr/share/emacs-snapshot/site-lisp/semantic/semantic-idle.elc which
seems to fix the problem for emacs snapshot.
Any chance this can be patched in before the next release is packaged?
I'd be happy to test with Emacs 21 if that is required.

people who don't use such Mice (or have not configured the scroll
wheel in xfree86): a few keymap entries and a little elisp.
