Hello, As a workaround for now, is it sufficient to rebuild libldap-2.4 with LDAP_CONNECTIONLESS defined? Thanks.

Package: hackrf Version: 2018.01.1-2 Severity: important Hello. As you may know, the HackRF requires matching libraries/tools and firmware to function correctly. I have flagged this as important due to this. Firmware 2021.03.1 has been out for several months, and I have upgraded my hardware for u

Bug#451535: debian-installer: allow to 'reuse' encrypted volumes

2019-11-20 Thread draeath
There's another use case here too, in cases where I want to use my own LUKS parameters - that the installer doesn't expose. Perhaps I want --type=luks1, maybe I want a different --iter-time, etc. Actually, if the installer (in expert mode) let us pass arbitrary arguments for cryptsetup this would c

Bug#905473: resolution found

2018-08-16 Thread draeath
Hello, It appears removing ayatana-indicator-application and ayatana-indicator-common resolves this issue. Looks like dependencies changed recently, as apt suggested autoremoval of these packages when I performed updates today.

I realize that backport related issues shouldn't normally go to the BTS, but I have reported here as the issue existed (though not as severely) in the stretch/stretch-updates distribution as well. On Sun, Aug 5, 2018 at 2:21 AM, Debian Bug Tracking System < ow...@bugs.debian.org> wrote: > Thank y

Bug#892858: resolvconf setting also ignored

2018-03-13 Thread draeath
The "resolvconf" parameter in /etc/dnssec-trigger/dnssec-trigger.conf is also ignored. I set this to a bogus file, and found the bogus file was not created, and the existing resolv.conf was replaced. It seems much of the configuration files don't match up with implemented functionality.

Bug#541538: duplicates and age of this bug

2018-03-09 Thread draeath
Hello, it seems that there are several older bugs about this configuration: #674935 and #674936 (duplicate submission) #697119 These go back to *early 2012* Can we maybe get this default configuration value adjusted? We're not talking about a code patch, here. Thanks.

Bug#876985: refactor patch

2017-09-29 Thread draeath
Hello, A few months back I authored a patch for caja-dropbox for this same removal. Please see 866026 for a potential solution, though it likely won't work out-of-the-box for nautilus-dropbox, it should save whoever takes up the torch some significant time and trouble. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi

Patch tested on stretch, seems to do the job. Can't imagine it wouldn't work on testing, too. Unfortunately, by the time I realized that "python-gpg" and "python-gnupg" are not the same thing, I was done. Please do let me know if you'd prefer me to use python-gnupg instead, and I'll be happy to. Th

One month does not seem like a lot of turnaround time for this. Does this package have an active maintainer? I'm willing to look into updating this and providing a patch, but I might need some handholding on the process side. (I'm familiar with casual site-local usage of debuild, but I do not curre

A few changes: Place this as /usr/local/bin/normalize-audio In k3b, place the search path /usr/local/bin/ at the top of the list. (or at least above /usr/bin). Alternatively, simply add /usr/local/bin/normalize-audio (yes, as a search path) and put it at the top... this forces it to be seen before
